Ranch caretaker needed for a 120 acre property with 12Ksf home. Need to be flexible and able to help out around the property in a variety of roles. Will be responsible for fencing, carpentry, grounds maintenance, building maintenance, care of livestock and some indoor work. Need to be well rounded with a can do attitude and a willingness to pitch in with a little of everything. Housing is a one bedroom home located on property.

Seeking an experienced ranch manager for a one to two year mentoring position on large recreational ranch in Montana. There is a young ranch manager on the property that will maintain his position. The mentor will be assisting the young manager with basic management techniques and strategies. Would prefer someone with previous guest ranch/hospitality experience as well as working ranch knowledge. This property is used as a family retreat and occupied all summer with a staff of 30. Management, hospitality and a desire to teach are the pre-eminent qualifications for this position. This will not be a long term position.

The man will act as the overall property manager, maintenance and project manager for all residences. Both parties must be comfortable serving, must be well spoken, intelligent and flexible. The family has a housekeeper that comes every week, so the nanny would just need to keep the children’s area clean, as well as her own. The mother enjoys cooking for her family, but occasional meal prep or taking over when the mom is occupied would be very helpful. Experience with children is required for this position.
